MY STORY
Curiosity
I am an artist, painter, pyrographer, wood carver and flute maker. I grew up in a small Massachusetts town surrounded by parents and siblings that were all artistic. As a teenager, I took up wood carving as a hobby, and eventually started carving songbirds and waterfowl. My interest in Pyrography started with burning tiny feathers into my creations. I soon became a dad of 4 amazing boys and let my curiosities lead me into making custom Native American Style flutes for many customers around the world, and the pyrography seemed to fit right into my new customer creations, adding intricate details giving the customer something unique to treasure.

Evolution
I then went about 10 years without a workshop, and the small tools needed for pyrography allowed me to continue creating in my tiny space. I started creating things I saw when I closed my eyes, burned into wood, with greater and greater detail. I soon melted into my own style of fantasy/steampunk magic.

I am now living on a old gentleman's farm in New England with a new-to-me workshop/studio, and am getting set up to make flutes and paint again as well. My art is often available in prints, original wood pieces, jewelry as well as t-shirts and other wearable things. I recently started creating custom pyrography guitar designs, and am currently taking commissions.

Many of my pieces have 50 - 200 hours into them, and I create pixel by pixel. My work is a passion and wonderous meditative process. Patience is my superpower.
